is engaged in following business activities:
- Planting and purchasing tobacco leaf
- Processing stripped tobacco leaf for foreign
and domestic companies.
- Export of stripped tobacco leaf
- Producing and processing cigarettes for domestic
market.
- Export of cigarettes and processing of export
cigarettes for foreign and domestic companies.
Processing capacity of the company is from 12 000 -
15 000 tons a year for tobacco leaf and from 65 –
75 million packs for cigarettes. Yellow and green
filter cigarette hard pack Tourane brand is to the
market and Liteup brand is exported to Asian countries.
Recently, tobacco growing area is about 1000 hectares
in Quang Ninh, Cao bang , Gia Lai, Kon tum and 3000
hectas is reserved for future development.
In the past few years, the company has exported
burley and flue-cured Virginia for leading international
tobacco companies like Commercial Standard, Japan
Tobacco International, British American Tobacco.
This year, the company aims to export over 1000
tons processed tobacco leaf to the above mentioned
International tobacco companies. Besides,10 000
tones of processed tobacco leaf and 55 million cigarette
packs can be manufactured for foreign and domestic
companies.
