Hoa Viet Joint Stock Company, former Tobacco Processing Plant, was established on October 1, 1989. Since then, the company has grown and developed, product quality is increasingly improved to meet customer demand.

As a state owned company the companyoperates on an independent cost accounting basis, and is a member of Vietnam National Tobacco Corporation with the international name of Hoa Viet Joint Stock Company.
