Sai Gon Cigarette Factory (formerly MIC) was established in July 1929. After April 30, 1975 when the country was unified, the factory became a state enterprise and since 1995 a member of Vietnam National Tobacco Corporation – Vinataba.

The factory’s production volume accounts for 48% of Vinataba’s total production volume and 27.18% of total industry volume.

The factory also gives support to other factories in technology transfer and marketing activities .

2. Saigon Cigarette Factory is the front runner of Vietnam tobacco industry in the application of new technology, technical expertise and other technical improvement in the manufacturing process.
